This was my first time climbing outside of Gauteng and first multi-pitch longer than two pitches. It had been a hard day of climbing the 8 pitches and +- 170m of the Long bolt to Freedom route on Rensburgkop, Swinburne in absolutely perfect weather and the feeling of reaching the top, as eagles soared high above us, was just unreal!! As if it were a myth itself Rensburgkop disappeared the next morning, shrouded in a cloud of mist 😉
