Listen to Garrreth Bird on Keeping it Wild

Tune into local podcast Keeping it Wild for an interview with SA climber Garrreth Bird...

Tune into local podcast Keeping it Wild to listen to South African climber, big wall adventurer, photographer and filmmaker Garrreth Bird talk about trad climbing, fear, why his name is spelt like that (turns out that’s a bit more to that story than you’d think…).

Keeping it Wild describes itself as “a podcast about wild adventure, in wild spaces, with some pretty wild people told through the lens of conservation” – the perfect space for Garrreth, considering he spends his time not only creating such masterpieces as Woods N Peaks, but also establishing routes in the Slanghoek Amphitheatre, i.e., the country’s biggest big wall. The episode strikes a great balance between adventure-tale-froth-fest, and some softer topics like mental game and Garrreth’s growth as an artist.
