Hi all, I (27M) am looking to join up with someone for indoor climbing at CityRock JHB, Tuesday and Thursday evenings around 17:30. Hi all I've been climbing for 18 months at CityROCK Cape Town. And I need help. I am one of the stronger climbers in our group, who meet twice a week (Tuesday and Friday mornings). But we're all pretty new to the sport. I can comfortably climb 21s, and typically can send 22s after a try or two. But I'm struggling to ascend to 23s and 24s. I've gotten this far by brute force and tenacity. I know my technique is awful, but I have nobody to show me the ropes on what I'm doing wrong. So I'm looking for someone who frequently sends 26ish type problems, and who's willing to come show off for me, and potentially a few of my friends on Tuesday and/or Friday mornings (even if it's just occasionally), and belay me with a very vocally critical eye, to help me climb through the levels 23 through 26ish. If you feel you can help in those times, I'd love to have you join our little motley crew.

Hey everyone! I’ll be in Cape Town from Dec 22 - 29 and will be looking to get on some outdoor sport. I moved to Botswana from the US in July and have been itching to get back on some rock! Good day all! I'm Ingolf from Germany and come to visit Cape Town in Oktober /November. I'm looking for a climbing partner for half or full day trips in the area around Cape Town during week 27. -31. October. I do sport climbing as well as trad. The area is new to me, so I would appreciate someone who knows the area a little bit. The following week (3.11.-7.11.25) I would love to go Rocklands. May be someone has time as well? In sport climbing I lead up to 6b french scale (it is 20 in SA?). In trad my lead is lower, may be up to 5a/5b french scale (15/16 SA-scale). I'm not the youngest (55 years) but still in good shape 🙂
