Friends and Allies hosted the inaugural Scallywags Bolts and Holds route setter competition on Friday, June 28th. This event, dedicated to route setters, celebrates their creativity and craftsmanship, bringing the faces behind the climbing blocs into the spotlight.
The competition format was straightforward: between 4 pm and 8 pm, the community climbed the boulders and voted for their favourite route. The setter of the winning bloc earned not only glory but also a cash prize of R1,500. So, who emerged victorious?
