Western Cape Climbing is shaking it up this month and inviting those who may not have dabbled in competition climbing to give it a try with The Open!
Date: 27 & 28 April
Time: 8am to 3pm
Place: CityROCK Cape Town & Bloc 11 Diep River
Cost: R300 per competitor (regardless of discipline)
This exciting new comp is open to all climbers 16 years and over and offers three divisions: Intervarsity for students, Legends for climbers 30 years and up, and Open for everyone. The lead round will take place on Saturday the 27th at CityROCK, followed by boulder at Bloc 11 on Sunday.
There will be four podiums (per discipline) in total – two for students (Fanatics & Weekend Warriors), one for Legends (30+ years) and one for Open, so there are plenty of chances to shine.
