The second official All Mountain Festival took place this past weekend (27 to 29 May 2022) and saw competitors storming to Tranquilitas Adventure Farm in Waterval Boven, Mpumalanga to get their adrenaline fix.
The participants set off bright and early at 6:35am on the chilly morning of Saturday 28 May, and enjoyed an action-packed day of running, riding and whipping that would make even the toughest adventurers sweat.
Numerous categories and a handicapped scoring system in the rock rally made for an even playing field that gave everyone a fair chance to win – one of this event’s highlights. Above all, the weekend provided a wonderful opportunity for mountain goats of all ages and abilities to enjoy some of the country’s best tracks, trails and rock climbing routes.
To top it all off, the OMFG! Food Truck and Shy Breweries came through with delicious eats and tasty refreshments – perfect after a day of crushing.
