The Cape Town Adventure Film Festival is set to return from 17 October to 1 November 2025, promising an unforgettable celebration of storytelling, nature, and human spirit. Curated by a passionate team of creatives, the festival showcases a dynamic mix of local and international films that capture the essence of adventure and a deep respect for the wild and untamed corners of our planet.
More than just a film event, the festival is a gathering of like-minded explorers, filmmakers, and nature lovers who share a commitment to protecting the natural world. Each screening delves into different facets of our relationship with nature — from surfing and climbing to biking, conservation, and water-based adventures — highlighting both the thrill of exploration and the importance of environmental stewardship.
Attendees will also stand a chance to win from an impressive R70 000 prize pot through exciting giveaways and festival activations.
Screenings and events will take place across various iconic Cape Town venues, including The Labia Theatre, Jack Black’s Taproom, and the ORMS School of Photography.
Ticket prices are expected to range between R120 and R200 per person.
