Join Gauteng Climbing as they host the speed and lead provincials from 22-23 August. This event serves as the qualifier for Nationals which will be taking place in September. Come through and cheer on your favourites!
Speed Provincials
Date: 22 August
Place: CityROCK Johannesburg
Event Format: All athletes will be allowed two practice runs. Following on from the practice runs, all athletes will then have two official timed runs. Category placements will be determined based on each athletes fastest time.
Lead Provincials
Date: 23 August
Place: CityROCK Pretoria
Event Format: All athletes will climb two qualifier routes which will determine their age group placements. The top athletes will then climb in an Open final to determine an overall open winner.
Age Groups
This event is open to Youth D all the way up to Seniors. Please note that this is not a selection event for Youth D, but an opportunity to build experience.
