This past Saturday, 3 September 2022, saw Johannesburg climbing gym Friends and Allies jam-packed with over 80 competitors ready to battle it out at the second edition of Tjoms in Arms. This unique event brings heaps of fun to the competition stage, with tjoms competing in teams of two to conquer FA’s mighty boulder sets and snap up some exciting prizes.
This year’s comp saw a whopping 42 teams compete in a spectacular day that included a qualifying round of 30 boulder problems for participants to tackle, followed by a final round of 4 spunky, spicy boulders that put the last few teams to the test.
