Celebrate World Rhino Day and Heritage Day this year with the 2023 Forever Rhino Rally, hosted by Valley Crag and Eastern Cape Climbing!
Climbers are coming together once again to take on an Everest Challenge in support of One Land Love It, a non-profit organisation that works to promote the protection and conservation of rhinos in South Africa.
There are plenty of prizes to be won and a couple of ways to participate…
INDOOR TRAVERSING CHALLENGE
Date: 24 & 25 September
Time: 10am to 5:30pm each day
Place: Valley Crag Climbing Centre, Gqeberha
Cost: R100 per person
Grab your shoes and get on the walls to see how many metres you can traverse on Sunday & Monday to contribute towards the mission of cumulatively ‘climbing’ the height of Mount Everest.
SUPPORT EASTERN CAPE CLIMBING
Some of the superstars from Eastern Cape Climbing will be taking on the vertical challenge to add their mileage to the cause – and you can help!
Simply select one or more athletes and pledge to donate an amount of your choosing per metre climbed; a portion of the funds raised will be put towards the athletes’ competition fees and expenses for the upcoming SANCF Nationals taking place from 30 September to 3 October.
