That’s right folks, Rocktober is coming to CityROCK Cape Town next month and we can’t wait!
This is going to be an indoor climbing extravaganza featuring top rope, lead and bouldering competitions with R25 000’s worth of cold, hard cash donated by vida e caffè waiting to be scooped by the victors.
Date: Saturday 14 October
Time: 7am to 8pm
Place: CityROCK Cape Town
Entry: R100 per person
Along with the main event, there will be plenty of fun spectator comps throughout the day, plus food and refreshments on sale with lekker tunes from DJ Daniel “Danx” Wilcox.
Take note of the following essential information and book your Rocktober ticket at the button below:
● The R100 entry fee covers entry into the boulder, top rope, lead and spectator competitions, and you can choose what disciplines to compete in on the day.
● There will be a qualifying round during the day followed by a final round in the evening, with cash prizes up for grabs for the first place winners in each discipline, and some gear goodie hampers for second and third place.
● Competitors must be 16 years or older to enter.
● There are only two categories: male and female (competitors will not be divided according to age or experience).
● Competitors who have a lead climbing tag may not compete in the top rope discipline.
● Spectators are welcome to enter the gym for free to cheer on the climbers (but a day pass will need to be purchased if you would like to do any climbing – gym entrance is free for CityROCK members).
