So just a taster of whatsahappening at the Asterix and Obelix crags.  Relationship building is all but complete and we shall release the beast soon enough.  To date there are about 15 new routes, of which one is sport 24, several trad to grade 20 and one or two Sprad with a bolt or three each to save your ankles.  2 routes are on the Panalex which has plenty more potential.  

There is excellent camping and a variety of other accommodation in the area and about an hour from Rocklands.  

The owners of this land are awesome people who excude a degree of hospitality or gasvryheid beyond the need for them to do so.  There are camping rules that must be strictly adhered to and it behoves the climbing community to get involved in maintaining the pristine nature of this area.  To date we (sic) have helped with maintaining the trails and cleaning up the inevitable shit paper left strewn about others (non-climbers).
