Deadpoint – a Play
Written by Peter Speed, Directed by Paul Spence

Deadpoint n. Climbing term: The moment (in a dynamic move) of weightlessness where upward movement ceases, but before downward movement starts.

Three people who were victims of an attack on a climbing trip, where a friend was murdered, meet seemingly by chance in a remote, weather-beaten hut. They were all traumatised. They carry the emotional scars of the event. There is survivor guilt, betrayal and unresolved issues that lie just below the surface. They meet at the point where the past catches up with them, the deadpoint.
