Celebrate Heritage Day this year by joining Eastern Cape Climbing and Gqeberha climbing gym Valley Crag on 23 & 24 September for the 2022 Forever Rhino Rally!
There will be two different events happening over the weekend – one is an outdoor Rock Rally on Saturday 24 September for our seasoned senders, while the other is a 24-hour climbing marathon in the climbing gym – whatever floats your boat, you can have a great time and make a difference! All funds raised will go towards the protection & conservation of rhinos around the country by the One Land Love It organisation.
INDOOR RALLY
Love pulling on plastic? Head to Valley Crag climbing gym for a 24-hour climbing marathon starting at 12pm on Friday 23 September and ending at 12pm on Saturday 24 September.
When: 12pm 23 September to 12pm 24 September
Where: Valley Crag climbing gym, Gqeberha
Cost: R150 per participant
Come through and add some laps during the day, or stay for the full event and camp in the gym overnight! There will be some event shirts for sale, along with an auction and some great prizes to be won.
OUTDOOR RALLY
If you prefer to get your hands on some real rock, join the outdoor Forever Rhino Rally! Simply find a partner and climb as many outdoor routes as you can from 8am to 5pm on Saturday 24 September, and return to Valley Crag climbing gym for the prizegiving at 5:30pm.
