Tired of not getting to climb Everest because of worldwide apocalypse lockdowns? Fear not, comrade! Join the UCT Mountain and Ski Club and Maties Climbing at CityROCK Cape Town for a challenge that will have you feeling the Himalayas in your legs.
Compete in teams to climb all 8849m of Mount Everest on the CityROCK walls. The first team to the summit wins! You don’t need to be a student to compete, but spaces are limited so book your spot before it’s gone! This event is top-rope climbing only, folks.
Date: Saturday 18 September
Time: 6am until the first team finishes (or 24 hours later…)
Entry: R440 per team (get 10 rascals together and it’s just R44 each!)
