Christopher Cosser has become the second South African to climb a 9a route with his recent send of Ice Cream in Salt Lake City!
This joins Chris’ long list of achievements, which includes an impressive tick list and being South Africa’s first male Olympian with his participation in the Tokyo 2020 Games. As an extra treat, we get a short film following the journey:
Mel Janse van Rensburg, one of our Paris 2024 Olympians, became the first South African to break the 9a barrier in June, 2022 with his send of Speed Integrale in Switzerland, and it’s only a matter of time before more of our local senders join the ranks.
