After months of anticipation, the opening of the new CityROCK Pretoria gym is finally in sight, and we’re celebrating with a great, big open weekend!
Date: Saturday 1 July & Sunday 2 July
Time: 9am to 6pm each day
Place: CityROCK PTA (Guernsey North Business Park, Warehouse B, Saltus Street, Irene, Centurion)
Entry to the gym is completely free for the event (although please note that gear rental is not included) and we are offering FREE top rope introduction courses on both days. Intro course bookings can be made at the button below – note that no booking is required for walk-in visits. Membership sign-ups are already open for the new gym, so if you would like to become a part of the PTA family you can start the process at the button below:
It should be noted that as a perk of the CityROCK membership, members can climb at ALL THREE gyms, and waivers and belay tags are also valid at all branches! If you need to do your belay test and you want to skip the PTA queues, we recommend completing your test at the Johannesburg or Cape Town branches before the grand opening.
Note that all new visitors will need to complete a CityROCK waiver, as will anyone that has not completed a waiver in over a year. The waiver can be done at the gym or, preferably, on your device at the button below (just remember to bring your ID to PTA for verification if you are signing a new waiver).
Come along to enjoy an action-packed day exploring the new gym, sampling our in-house café’s tasty menu and (of course) christening our clean and shiny walls with some rubber!
