To all the MCSA members out there and anyone else that's interested, there is a "hack" of alien invasive plants and trees at Cecilia Forest on Saturday 19 June. I shall be there in the morning and then going on to Rocklands about mid day. So please bring a hand saw and a chain saw if you are a certified user. Please bring your certificate with you!

Cecilia Forest Hack Meet

We are working directly with SANParks in clearing alien plants in Cecilia Forest. This is in collaboration with the Friends of Table Mountain. This is an ongoing project, with meets every couple of months (you can attend once off, or regularly, no commitment necessary).
We will meet at the Cecilia Forest parking lot. Please wear strong shoes and protective clothing, and bring hat, gloves, sunblock, and snacks and water. Your own hand saws and loppers are welcome, but the Club has equipment if you do not.
