Exciting news for Western Cape sport & trad climbers – the ribbon is being cut on a brand new Montagu crag this weekend!
Date: Saturday 9 September
Time: Meet 7:30am
Place: Rock n Roll Kloof, Guano Caves, Montagu (meet outside the main entrance of Guano Caves)
Cost: R50 entrance per person
Situated in the Guano Caves climbing area, close to the beautiful Montagu Guano Cave Resort, Rock n Roll Kloof offers two multi-pitch trad climbing routes and ten sport routes ranging from grade 18 to 25 and measuring up to 35m, with plenty of room for expansion.
Developed by local climbing legend and Montagu resident Tony Lourens, this exciting new crag is sure to become a fan favourite with its excellent combination of great climbing, easy access and, of course, an incredible natural setting. Please note that no dogs or other pets are allowed in this area.
